Using Viffy
Redemptions and reports
Track verified redemptions by creator and review costs labeled as estimates.
Redemptions
The Redemptions page lists every redemption, newest first, with its campaign, creator, brand, offer and time. Redemptions arrive automatically; the page shows when figures were last updated.
- Filter by date range and brand. Use Counted, Excluded, or Staff test codes to filter by counting status.
- Exclude a redemption, with a reason, to leave it out of verified counts and the cost estimates derived from them. Restore it at any time. Both are recorded in the Activity log.
- Redemptions of test codes are shown but count for nobody.
Reports
The Dashboard’s Link views, Codes issued, and Verified redemptions tiles show activity for the dates you choose, with a breakdown by brand. Each campaign has a daily chart and a table of creators ranked by verified redemptions.
| Range | Covers |
|---|---|
| Today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days | Up to and including today. |
| This month | The first day of this month through today. |
| Last month | The whole previous calendar month. |
| Custom | Up to 366 calendar days including the first and last day for on-screen reports. CSV exports can cover longer ranges. |
Reports group activity by day using the time zone in Settings.
Paying creators
Choose Per-creator counts on Redemptions for your team’s payment process. Each row shows one creator’s verified redemptions on one campaign, with estimated commission alongside.
Your team sets and makes payments outside Viffy. The estimate does not confirm an amount owed or a payment made.
Reading the numbers
| Figure | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Link views | Opens during the selected dates, counted once per network connection per link per day. People sharing a connection may count as one. |
| Codes issued | Shopper codes received during the selected dates. Test codes are left out. |
| Verified redemptions | Counted redemptions during the selected dates. Test and excluded redemptions are left out. |
| Redemption rate | Verified redemptions divided by codes handed out during the selected dates. A blank rate means no codes were handed out in that period. |
| Creator conversion | Verified redemptions divided by link opens. A blank rate means there were no opens in that period. |
Why a rate can exceed 100%
If 100 codes are handed out this week and 150 are redeemed, the redemption rate is 150%. Some of those redemptions use codes handed out earlier. Each activity counts on the day it happens. The selected dates do not restrict results to shoppers who first opened a link during that period.
Estimated commission uses your current campaign rate and estimated sale price. See a worked cost example.
Purchase details and corrections
A retailer is shown only when the campaign restricts the offer to one chain. It does not identify the store where a shopper bought the product.
Viffy does not receive basket values or automatically remove register reversals. Review a disputed redemption and exclude it when it should not count.
Exporting and reconciling
Choose the dates and brand
Open Redemptions and set the range and optional brand filter. Use the same dates and reporting time zone when comparing another report.Choose your export
Choose Per-creator counts for totals per creator and campaign, or Redemption detail for individual counted redemptions.Keep the file used for reconciliation
Each export states its dates and time zone. Creator counts also include the rate and estimated sale price behind its commission estimates.
Creator counts include assigned creators with zero redemptions. Redemption detail leaves out test and excluded redemptions, even though the on-screen list shows them.
Each export names its reporting time zone and dates. Creator counts also include the rate and estimated sale price used to calculate commission; changing those inputs later changes past estimates.
The Activity log export uses a date range without a brand filter. CSV files use UTF-8 for spreadsheet compatibility.
If figures differ, follow the reporting checks.
Data checks and the Activity log
- Data checks show duplicate claim attempts, verification limits, removed or refused codes, excluded redemptions, and other flagged activity. Review these alongside the feed; they are not proof of fraud.
- The Activity log records changes to campaigns, creators, links, exclusions, and settings, with who made each change and when. Choose Activity log on Redemptions to export it.
